In this interior design project in Balerna, large-format porcelain marble acts as a visual and material thread, from the flooring to the vertical cladding. The open and bright layout allows each element to interact harmoniously: clean lines, neutral tones, and decorative details that combine subtle luxury with functionality. The central clad fireplace stands out, standing like a sculptural totem and dividing the space without interrupting its fluidity.
The furnishings have been selected to enhance the feeling of warmth and comfort: soft velvets, cushions with natural motifs, and golden touches that provide shine without being too strident. The backlit staircase, also clad in marble, adds a theatrical effect to the home’s vertical flow, while the white surfaces reflect light and amplify the sense of spaciousness. This balance of modernity and refinement transforms each room into an aesthetic and functional experience.
Conceived as a space for stylish living, this home embraces a polished, contemporary aesthetic that retains personality and artisanal detail.
